CAN ACUPUNCTURE HELP EASE FIBROMYALGIA SYMPTOMS ?Well, according to the results of a Mayo Clinic study, this may be the case. Of 50 participants in the study, those who received acupuncture reported improvements in fatigue and anxiety levels, with minimal side effects. This particular study seems to be the most successful randomized and controlled study to date, as far as measuring the effects of acupuncture on fibromyalgia symptomology. So, though the comedy-magic team of Penn and Teller may deride the benefits of acupuncture, it may yet be proven to be a valid and effective source of treatment for fibromyalgia patients.
