CAN LINOLEIC ACID REDUCE THE RISK OF HEART DISEASE ?According to a study conducted over a fifteen year period in Finland, and involving 1,551 men in their middle-age years, this seems to be the case.After evaluating eating habits and medical records, it was determined that individuals whose dietary consumption provided the greatest amounts of linoleic acid (along with polyunsaturated fat) were at least 60 percent less likely to die of a heart condition.
