NATURAL OILS AND BREAST ENLARGEMENTWe've all seen the infomercials about breast enlargement products. Well, as it turns out, two natural oils may have the effect of stimulating breast growth. In boys, that is.Dr. Clifford Bloch, a pediatric endocrinologist practicing in Colorado, found upon examing three male children that all three had been exposed to specific oils used in certain products. Those oils are lavender oil and tea tree oil and, in these instances, these oils appeared to act like estrogens, the hormones that are responsible for breast development in girls. Fortunately, for the boys concerned, their breasts reduced in size after the application of the natural oils was ceased. Researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (North Carolina) who were contacted by Dr. Bloch and who investigated the matter stated that it was uncertain whether or not either substance would produce the same effect in females or adults of either gender. Needless to say, caution might be advised when it comes to the use of topical products that utilize these oils. Return to: Herbs Notes on Herbs Vitamin Stuff homepage |
