VITAMIN C TO FIGHT CANCERVitamin C is a micronutrient and an antioxidant whose health benefits have been widely touted for decades. But can vitamin C fight cancer too? Studies dating from the 1970s suggested that high doses of vitamin C could be used against cancer cells, but later research failed to substantiate this.However, recent findings have shown that ascorbate (a form of vitamin C) given intravenously and in high doses has been able to significantly reduce the survival of cancer cells, and in the case of lymphoma cells kill them completely.
