However, as one rule states: too much of anything is not necessarily a good thing. And this applies to supplements. Ideally, a person considering alpha-lipoic acid supplements should do some investigation and perhaps consult with a doctor, dietician, or nutritionist. This is particularly true in the case of diabetics.
