What are the potential advantages of taking Pycnogenol ?
Pycnogenol® (pronounced pick-nah-geh-nol), is a trademarked name for proanthocyanidin, a bioflavonoid complex extracted from the bark of the European coastal pine, Pinus Maritima. Pycnogenol is a powerful antioxidant and, because it is so easily absorbed into the bloodstream (absorption takes only 20 minutes), pycnogenol may offer more antioxidant protection from free-radical damage than either vitamin C or vitamin E.
Pycnogenol helps keep the eyes, skin, circulatory system, and brain healthy, strengthens the immune system, and pycnogenol may even help prevent the genetic mutations that cause cancerous cells to develop.
