Can you get enough Resveratrol from food and dietary sources ?

The best dietary sources of resveratrol are red grapes and wine, peanuts, and mulberries. Reseveratrol is also found in Polygonum cuspidatum, also known as Japanese knotweed, a plant that has been used for centuries in Asia to treat heart and liver disorders. The Polygonum cuspidatum root is dried and made into powder, and sometimes combined with grape extracts and other antioxidants, to make most of the resveratrol supplements available in stores today.

However, resveratrol supplements may be a more reliable source of this nutrient for those that don’t regularly consume red wine or grape juice, or who are concerned about their calorie, carbohydrate, or sugar intake.
