Are there risks associated with using Selenium ?

Too much selenium in the diet can be toxic. High blood levels of selenium can result in a condition called selenosis. Symptoms of selenosis include arthritis, gastrointestinal upsets, hair loss, white blotchy nails, garlic breath odor, fatigue, dizziness, dermatitis, irritability, and mild nerve damage.
