What are the potential advantages of taking Paba ?
PABA offers many potential advantages to those that wish to improve the health of their hair and skin. PABA, or para-aminobenzoic acid, is a member of the B-vitamin complex that stimulates intestinal bacteria to produce folic acid, or vitamin B9.
In its topical form, PABA protects against sunburn and skin cancer by blocking ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, and is often used as an ingredient in sunscreens and burn relief ointments. PABA also acts as an antioxidant, and protects the body from free-radical damage and from smoke and other damaging environmental pollutants. PABA promotes healthy hair and skin by helping the body to synthesize protein, and assists in the formation of red blood cells.
