Are there risks associated with using Paba ?
No serious side effects have been associated with PABA doses within the normal range (300 milligrams or less per day). However, large amounts of PABA (1 gram or more) may cause low blood sugar, rash, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or damage to the liver, heart, and kidneys. Some people experience allergic reactions to topical PABA. Those who take sulfa drugs should avoid PABA supplements, since this nutrient can interfere with the effectiveness of sulfa drugs.
