The RDA for vitamin b2 for an adult male is 1.6 mg. The RDA for vitamin b2 for an adult female is 1.2 mg.
However, pregnant and nursing women need more b2; 1.5 mg if pregnant, 1.8 mg if nursing. Also, since alcohol interferes with b2 absorption, drinkers should probably get additional vitamin b2 and vegetarians should probably consider supplemental doses of vitamin b2 also.
