Are there risks associated with using vitamin B2 ?
Taking 2,000 times the RDA for vitamin b2 has been reported to cause kidney stones, and large doses of riboflavin could cause cataracts to form or worsen. Those with cataracts might be advised to not take risks; that is, avoid vitamin b2 riboflavin supplements altogether, and raise b2 riboflavin levels only by eating more riboflavin-rich foods.
