The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for vitamin b3, or niacin, is 18 milligrams for adult men and 14 milligrams for adult women, although nursing and pregnant women need more; 18 milligrams of vitamin b3 if nursing, and 20 milligrams of b3 if pregnant.
